"Unique and freshly renovated apartment overlooking the rooftops of Paris. Beautiful parquet and modern kitchen. Quiet place with double glazing and very clean bathroom. Excellent library with dozens of books to read in the evening hours. We adored it! The size is certainly small, but it is overall very comfortable and welcoming. The area is very central. We easely walked to the Jardin de Luxembourg, and to the remarkable churches of Saint Germain and Saint Sulpice. You can breathe an air of "home" in this elegant, clean and bright apartment. The access ladder to the mezzanine requires a little attention, but it is original and functional. Five floors with no elevator are a bit tiring at first, but you get used to them!"

"It took us some time to understand how to use the washing and drying machine. It would be a good idea to leave instructions available for future guests."

"This is a great flat extremely well-located ! It has clearly been decorated with taste and passion by world travellers. Plus it has a huge bookshelf... even if the weather gets terrible in Paris, you won't get bored. Be aware it's 5 floors without elevator ... not a problem when you travel light, but would not recommend it if you have 4 suitcases."

"Nothing, really. Just to note that there two options for sleeping : a great bed in mezzanine and a Sofa-bed. The Sofa-bed is rather thin: perfect for our child but would not recommend if you're a rugby player ;)"

"The check-in went smoothly with the concierge Hacene being more than helpful. The apartment was in a great location being a short walk to Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens the other direction. It was surrounded by cafes and historic buildings. The apartment was on the 5th floor and had views in both directions. The decor of the apartment was interesting with huge numbers of books in French and English, a leather chair and a large dining table. There were lots of art objects and art on the walls. The kitchen was mostly well equipped with even an oven, dishwasher and a kitchen aide stand mixer. There was a washer/dryer just outside the apartment."

"The stairs to the apartment were brutal. The apartment was on the 5th floor but I think the 1st was double height and the steps were uneven, twisty and not level and very narrow. The beds were horrible. Access to the big bed required climbing a ladder and scrambling over the top of it. Once up the ladder on the loft there was no room to walk around the bed so the only access for a 2nd person was to climb over the 1st. There is a drop off at the foot of the bed and in the ladder opening. It was hot in the loft with no air circulation except a noisy fan. I was afraid to climb up there so slept on the sofa bed. The sofa bed was small and extremely uncomfortable with a bar and thin mattress. There were pictures of the bed situation when I looked carefully afterwards but no verbal description that the queen sized bed was in a loft nor was there any mention of the twisty 5 floors of stairs. I read reviews but not to the end where these were mentioned. It would have been nice if the baby bed was foldable . It was very large and in the way. Finally in such a well equipped kitchen a coffee maker would have been nice. All we really wanted was a coffee machine and a refrigerator because of all the cafes nearby. The owners can’t really fix most of this except the sofa bed but it would be nice to warn customers better so they can decide. We are an older retired couple in not as good of shape as we should be and this was hard for us. It wasn’t a problem for our young adult athletic son except carrying up his rather large case of athletic gear used earlier on the trip."

"Ho trascorso cinque giorni meravigliosi in compagnia di una carissima amica e delle nostre due figlie tredicenni, ma confido di poterci fare ritorno al più presto anche con mio marito e mio figlio, certa che anche a loro piacerà l'atmosfera parigina che si respira a casa di Chiara e Jonathan. La posizione è eccezionale e l'appartamento incantevole, arredato con gusto ed estremamente pulito: vale decisamente lo sforzo della salita dei 106 gradini fino al quinto piano! Il concierge Yann si è dimostrato molto preciso e disponibile nella consegna delle chiavi. Speravamo di poter appoggiare le valige qualche ora dopo il rilascio dell'appartamento, ma abbiamo risolto ricorrendo al deposito presso la Cave du Sénat in Rue de Vaugirard."
